Hundreds of thousands of people celebrating, all showing support for the LGBT community with a different array of rainbow colored flags and attire, marching down Market St from Beale down to Civic Center.
Everyone in good spirit, happy married couples of all different gender combinations, some people in all leather, spandex, and high heels. There was a noticeable increase in security. More cops were present in this years celebration in comparison to previous years, in light of the Orlando tragedy.
“Make America Gay Again,” read the words on more than one T-shirt, along with others that read, “I Can’t Even Think Straight.”
Hundreds of women on motorcycles, as usual Dykes on Bikes starts the march and leads the way, with their loud motors revving up getting the show on the road near the Ferry Building.
It was an incredible sight to see so many people in support for the lost love ones in Orlando. One noticeable rider had a large “Orlando” flag held up high for all to see. Others had “We are Orlando” stickers to the front of their bikes.
The amazing floats were nor far behind. They were dressed up in balloons, flags, ribbons and any other rainbow colored decor.
